Fred Astaire’s character Dick attempts to photograph a feature on “the intellectual woman” on a model called Marion who seems to be anything but intellectual.

Marion’s dress appears to be a black stretch wool fabric which clings to the figure. The neckline is fascinating. Is there boning in the bodice and some kind of wire in the edge of the neckline that gives it structure?
