Sabrina (1954)
Plot:
Sabrina Fairchild (Hepburn) is the young daughter of the Larrabee family’s chauffeur, and has been in love with David Larrabee (William Holden) all her life. David is a playboy, who has never noticed Sabrina. Sabrina then attends culinary school in Paris and returns transformed into a beautiful and sophisticated woman. David, after initially not recognizing her, is quickly smitten. David’s older brother Linus (Humphrey Bogart) fears that David’s imminent wedding with a society woman may be endangered and so thus would a great corporate deal with the bride’s family. Linus tries to redirect Sabrina’s affections to himself and in the process, also falls in love with her.

That Chauffeur’s daughter dress is one of my favorites, I love the simple, feminine shape and polka dots always make a dress special in my books : )
